Beautifully Understood: Albert Schweitzer

It wouldn’t be right, American or traditional if I didn’t dedicate November’s first post to being thankful.  Having so much to be appreciative for has been keeping a smile on my face.  There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about all the fortunes in my life.  A supportive family, encouraging friends, health and a host of other aspects of my life that help me move forward daily.  Taking a look back at the past eleven months has bestowed so many NEW accomplishments that have meant & mean more to me than I probably ever will be able to express in words.  The greatest part of it all ~ I had the opportunity to share it with the world and you.  I found this quote by Albert Schweitzer that made me think of all the people who have been cheering and smiling with me along the way.  With the creation of HUGS, appointment as Beautification Ministry Chair, True Praise choir member, Office Manager at Busy B’s, active participant in my kid’s activities and blog writer, I’ve stepped into this new phase of my life – smiling.  “In everyone’s life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.”

Albert Schweitzer

I must admit, during this time I have questioned everything I’ve done.  The methods I chose in reaching the feelings I’m following.  However, there have been an amazing group of people standing in my corner.  I’m thankful to them all.  They gave me the push I needed but refuse to let me fall.  In those rare moments when I doubt myself and actions they give me the fuel to keep the light from my fire burning brighter than ever.

For an extra bonus here’s a few words that’ll put a smile on your face and generate laughter from a genuine place.  “There’s always something to be thankful for.  If you can’t pay your bills, you can be thankful you’re not one of your creditors.” ~ Anonymously funny 😀  Lord knows I’m thankful I’m NOT them… Lolbvs  As always keep smiling, be positive and take the time to tell those who’ve been there for you Thank You… 🙂
